Answers for Angels’ 4th annual 5k race is a timed run/walk USATF certified course; #IL-16029-NM. It takes place on the Old Plank Road Trail, White Street & Elwood Street north of the Trolley Barn.
Registration: 7am (at the Gazebo)
Race begins: 8am
The route starts on the east side of White Street and proceeds directly east through the forest of the Old Plank Road Trail. This trail will take you to Pfeiffer Road where you will turn left, north, to Route 30 (Lincoln Highway). You will immediately turn around and head back south on Pfeiffer Road back to the Old Plank Road Trail and take a right, west, to the finish line. (See Map)
The event includes a pre & post-race snack. Medals are given to the top male/female finishers in each age group in both the runners/walkers categories.
For $25 per person, create a team of 4 or more! Single registrants start at $30.

Runners, walkers & families are invited to stay & enjoy raffle baskets, food & refreshments.

The course is a pleasing run/walk through the forest of the Old Plank Road Trail. The race starts east of White Street near Elwood Street proceeding east to Pfeiffer Road, taking a left, north, to Route 30 (Lincoln Highway). You will immediately turn around and head back the same route to the Old Plank Road Trail, take a right, west, to the finish line. (See Map)
